How often do I need to change the cartridge?

I love that it improves the water quality, making my morning routine way more pleasant. The pressure’s solid, though it did take a tiny bit of adjusting to get it just right with my old showerhead.
My only gripe is the filter cartridge replacement seems a bit pricey when I looked into it, but I guess that’s the trade-off for clean water. If you’re dealing with tough water quality, this is a solid pick definitely worth trying out!

Delivery was actually quicker than expected. I unboxed all items, read the instructions even though it was super easy to install. Only took less than 5 minutes. I did run warm water through both ends as instructed.
Definitely can tell a difference in washing my hair the next day. City water was way too harsh.

I purchased this filter because I was not seeing any relief in my eczema, and my eczema just kept getting worse.
I’ve had to make a lot of changes in my laundry detergent, and lotions, but nothing seemed to fully help. I had been seeing ads for a showerhead filter and purchase this one based off of the reviews and because of my budget.
There are a couple more that were significantly more expensive that I really would like to try. But this one is doing a pretty good job for the money. I’ve noticed that I’ve lost less hair in the shower than normal.
And the areas where my eczema is really bad have improved quite a lot. It was easy to install, and it doesn’t seem like my water pressure was affected negatively.

Was very skeptical that this would take care of my hard water problem but after installing and just after the first use, hands-down noticeably different seriously felt like I was taking a shower where I had a water system put in definitely recommend this purchase does not affect the water pressure.
The only thing I would question it are the little filters they give you. I did not use them because they worked their way into the pipe and actually constricted pipe, so I figured there was enough filtering going on that I didn’t need that and as big as the screen was, it wasn’t filtering anything other than rocks.

The pictures I’m providing are an example of when you don’t get a refill replacement in time so learn from my mistake! We live out in the country and without a water softener.
When I look back at the difference between these two photos I am SHOCKED. Hair is air dried in both. Before I let myself get to the state in first picture, I was reaping the benefits of the filter, but again, my silly self was baffled at how my skin/hair was getting THAT bad and realized “Oh my god, we haven’t gotten a replacement for our water filter in over a year” So let this be a testimony that this filter WORKS and works WELL and for apparently for AWHILE (note that it depends on how hard your water is for how often you need to get a filter replacement).
I was feeling sticky in and out of the shower, and very obviously my hair was getting ruined. The second picture is the first shower I took after inserting a replacement. Skin felt IMMEDIATELY better, hair dried like a dream. I’m not one to normally have such skin/hair problems so that also goes to show the havoc hard water can wreak on your body. This shower filter is WORTH it. It’s easy to install, easy to replace the filter, and will make your showers 1000% better. Just remember to keep up on the replacements (OOPS)

The filter quality is good. It comes with additional o-rings. Water flow is not restricted. The functionality is very good. I instantly noticed a difference with the water. The water in my neighborhood is hard, so this filter definitely helped. No leaks.

Helped with my child’s allergies. We saw the difference right away. She would always sneeze & itch during & after showers. Water is rough where we live . Also helps with children that suffer from eczema. 2 of my kids suffer from eczema & have healthier skin after using the shower.
I am now taking showers with this too because I have issues with my scalp & my scalp is healing now. A must buy will be purchasing a 2nd one Update July 2023: A year later and I replaced the filters. Definitely recommend replacing at 6 mts as suggested by vendor.
My scalp became to dry up again and my kids eczema was as not under control. I took pics of the filter when changing and had dirt on them that the filter stopped from entering the shower head.
Also adding photos of another shower head in my house (w/o filter) and has build up from the hard water vs the shower head with filter – no build up.

In February, my partner and I figured we were just gonna prematurely bald because we couldn’t for the life of us, figure out why else we were losing our hair in chunks.
My hair grows pretty quickly and for my blunt bob to still be a blunt bob six months from when I got it cut, I was starting to panic. I was taking collagen, doing hair masks and oil treatments (picture included) and using a scalp massager on mine and my partner’s head when we washed our hair. Nothing was working.
It was actually getting worse faster. But then I got this soft water filter in Early March and a month later there is a DRASTIC difference from then and now. I am doing an oil treatments again today and put my hair in twin buns, so the tension on my hair is the same, but the amount of scalp visible has greatly reduced. Our drain isn’t constantly clogged with hair. It dries softer and with a little more volume.
It’s GROWING again, like I’m finally able to do a real hair style now. I highly recommend this shower head. It’s so easy to install, took me less than 15 minutes, and it was ready to use THAT DAY. I can’t hype it up enough..
